    The Chokkanathaswamy Temple

    Situated in Domlur, Bangalore, India, it is home to one of the earliest religious buildings ever constructed.     The Nandhi Temple

    Situated in the South Bengaluru neighbourhood of Basavanagudi, on Bull Temple Road, within the larger metropolis of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is sometimes referred to as “The Bull Temple” or “Dodda Basavana Gudi.” This temple is devoted to the worship of Nandi, the vahana of Lord Shiva, the sacred bull in Hinduism. The Kempe Gowda constructed the temple, which is renowned for its Dravidian style.

    ISKCON Temple

    ISKCON Temple, also referred to by tourists as Shree Radha Krishna Temple, is situated in Rajajinagar, near North Bangalore, the state capital of Karnataka. In addition to being the well-known Krishna temple in Bangalore, it is regarded as one of the biggest ISKCON temples in the entire globe. It has become the city’s top religious destination because of many celebrations of Vedic culture or Lord Vishnu’s incarnations that are commemorated with tremendous delight.

    Shivoham Shiva Temple

    Located on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, the Shiv Temple is a well-known spiritual attraction dedicated to the Hindu god, Lord Shiva. A magnificently crafted statue of Lord Shiva with the Holy Ganga pouring out of his matted locks may be found within the temple complex.

    Banashankari Amma Temple

    Kote Venkataramana Temple

The Mysore ruler constructed the temple in the late 17th century in the Dravidian and Vijayanagara styles. Vaikuntha Ekadashi is the biggest festival observed here, drawing throngs of thousands of worshippers to the temple. 

    Dharmaraya Swamy Temple

    Located in Bangalore’s megacity, the Shri Dharmaraya Swamy Temple is regarded as one of the most ancient and well-known temples. The Karaga festival has special reverence in the temple. The followers of Gowdas, Ganacharyas, and Chakridaararu are the ones who uphold the custom of holding the Karaga annually.

    Jagannath Temple

    The Jagannath Temple, which is situated in Agara, Bangalore, on Sarjapur Road, is another addition to the list of the city’s best temples. It is devoted to the Hindu deity Jagannath, along with his siblings Subhadra and Balabhadra. Each year, almost 15,000 worshippers come to this temple to behold its beauty.

    Shrungagiri Shanmukha Temple

    Situated in Bangalore, the state capital of Karnataka, in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. The primary deity of the temple is Lord Shanmukha. It is one of Bangalore City’s most significant tourist attractions and places of worship.

    Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple

    The Gavi Gangadhareshwara temple, near Gavipuram, was restored by Kempe Gowda and literally means “cave of the lord who adorns the Ganga.” This Shiva temple, which is adjacent to Basavanagudi, is very significant to the city. One of Bangalore’s most ancient and significant temples, it still has its unique astronomical importance and looks amazing, being carved out of a rock.

    Someshwara Temple

    The Someshwara temple, situated on the banks of Ulsoor Lake, is another on the list of the greatest temples in Bangalore. The ancient architecture of this temple, which was constructed during the Chola dynasty, continues to tell the tale. Gopurams, or towers, were erected to the temple during the Kempe Gowda’s 16th-century renovations. The narrative of Shiva and Parvati’s marriage is depicted in wall carvings.

    Nageshwara Temple

    Situated on the outskirts of Hosur Road, Nageshwara Temple is one of Bangalore’s hidden treasures. This temple was constructed during the Ganga and Chola eras, and its architecture is simply amazing. Lord Shiva is the primary deity at the temple. Because the shrine contains pancha-lingas, the temple is also known as the Panchalingeshwara temple. It is a well-known temple on the outskirts of Bangalore, known for its exquisite construction.

    Kadu Malleshwara Temple

    Constructed in the 17th century by Chhatrapati Shivaji’s younger brother, who had held the kingdom of Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu. This temple was once surrounded by a dense, lush green jungle that is today known as Malleshwara, a historic suburb. During the week-long Maha Shivratri celebration held in the area, this location comes alive.
